Due to the stand still and calm during the pandemic Elke created her style movement painting as a symbiose from colorfield painting and action painting. She would like to pull the strings with all the colours from our world to delete all its bad! Because she has a dream! She is dreaming of world peace!
In her understanding the colorfield painting is a result of speechlessness after living in inhumane conditions like war could bring to us! So she lets the threads run directly from the tube onto the colorfield painting, abstract viewed her architectural background – first she wanted create for human lovely houses, but thanks to her mission, she followed her dream, using acrylic paint, as a support for the free-flowing chaos of joyful twirls and curves: our life!

Elke's art is designed from within, as she consciously or unconsciously surrenders from the movement of life. In movement there are encounters and events that make our life worth living, be they positive or negative. These experiences shape us and it is precisely these shapes that she creates on the canvas, conjuring an atmosphere that draws the viewer in, inviting them to indulge in their dreams or, at best, live them.
