Artist statement
For me, painting is a way of self-expression, self-knowledge and self-development. It gives me the opportunity to unleash my potential and overcome my own limitations, look beyond everyday reality and see the world from a new perspective, explore the interaction of the visible and the invisible, realise the infinity and beauty of the universe. The very process of creativity allows us to penetrate the essence of things and reveal the secrets that are hidden from us. My works are often abstract and symbolic, because I strive to convey not only the appearance of objects, but also their emotional and spiritual component. I use colours, shapes and textures to evoke certain feelings and associations, I like to experiment with different media. I sincerely believe in the creative power of art.
