While my work may appear disparate and lacking cohesion to some, to me, it's a reflection of my perpetual quest for belonging—a journey that stems from my immigrant identity yet transcends mere geographic boundaries. Growing up, I yearned for a sense of place, only to realize that familial ties couldn't fulfill that longing. In the absence of common ground with my siblings, I felt like the odd one out until I discovered solace in my professional endeavors. It was then that I realized my search extended far beyond the confines of familial relationships; it was a pursuit of deeper meaning within both life and the cosmos.
My fascination with physics fuels my exploration of space and time, though I admit my comprehension falls short of my curiosity's depth. Despite life's inequities, I count myself fortunate to draw strength from my Norwegian heritage, which serves as my bedrock. While I may not reside there permanently, the idea of a cabin nestled in the northern islands—a nod to my roots—holds a special allure, anchoring me to my origin and shaping my identity.
