Claudia is a Florida based artist with a passion for art, science and the practice of mindfulness. Her work explores aerial landscapes featuring coastal views, waves, rocks and birds inspired by geological views of the earth. Informed by Biophilic and Neuro-Art research, she creates evocative reflections of light using the sun and moon’s radiance on different bodies of water. Her multimedia paintings are made with acrylics, alcohol inks, mica powders and sometimes resin, creating immersive, multidimensional effects.
She is professionally trained in oil and acrylic painting, landscape design, and graphic design. She holds an M.A in Art History and a Doctorate, where she researched science identity development through the lens of an artist. Claudia was able to demonstrate the power of art as a teaching and learning tool for different age groups.

After the pandemic, she taught a required college level Art Appreciation course, where she embedded art-for-healing techniques that students loved and were deeply grateful for. As a Florida resident for over 25 years, she is captivated by the diverse ecosystems, unique landscapes, and stunning beaches. During her 15 years working at the state’s Natural History Museum, she became fascinated by the unbounded beauty we can find in nature. Each piece she creates conveys the importance of preserving and appreciating the natural world around us, as being in touch with nature promotes healing through its positive effects on mental health, physical well-being, and emotional resilience.

She has exhibited at the Marion County’s Cultural Center in Ocala, FL and is preparing to exhibit at the Red Dot Miami Art Fair 2025.
Her mission is to harness the transformative power of art to heal emotional wounds, nurture resilience, and inspire mindfulness, creating a compassionate space for all.
