Denisa Mansfield

As a contemporary oil painter, Denisa pushes traditional techniques to create visually and emotionally engaging works. Inspired by nature, history, and evocative subjects, she balances observation with imagination, using layered colour and textured brushwork to capture light, atmosphere, and form through a personal, expressive vision.
Denisa Mansfield is an emerging visionary contemporary artist whose practice bridges the timeless elegance of traditional art with the bold energy of modern perception. A largely self-taught painter, she redefines oil painting by blending figurative art, abstract cubism, and impressionist influences. Raised in London and based in Colchester, she draws on a diverse background in Art and Design, Textiles, Photography, Italian, Criminology, and Psychology to inform her multidisciplinary perspective.
A multi-award-winning artist, Mansfield has exhibited with the Chelsea Art Society at Chelsea Old Town Hall, the Royal Society of British Artists at the Mall Galleries where she received an award, Green & Stone Gallery, Chelmsford Museum, and The Minories Gallery, where she serves as a committee member of Colchester Art Society and leads the CAS Plein Air group. Her work has also featured in the Swiss Art Expo, Street Art UK, Boomer Gallery, Paint Britain, and House & Garden Magazine. Mansfield’s bold, expressive paintings celebrate creativity, resilience, and the evolving voice of women in contemporary art.
