From France to Hong Kong, Dorothea's art has been selling nationally and internationally. With her florals, she has become known as The Artist of Happiness. Dorothea is evidence-based design certified, and she uses medical/scientific study results while creating art that triggers the brain to create happiness (dopamine) chemicals. In 2024, Dorothea was interviewed by a brain research team at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for her art and her book, "100 Days Of Happy Happy Art, Evidence-Based Design".

In 2024 and 2025, Dorothea's art was featured in Healthcare Design Magazine. She is also the creator of the Smart City Art Collection, which features abstract art pieces promoting smart and sustainable cities of the future. Thirteen of her art pieces are currently in international curations in Spain, Belgium, France and the United States. In 2026, Dorothea will be painting for three months in Shanghai, China.
