
Lucy Gow




Lucy is a Belfast born artist, now living in Northamptonshire, who completed her BA (Hons) Fine Art Painting & Drawing in 2022, and completed an MA Fine Art at Birmingham School of Art, Birmingham City University in 2023.
She is drawn to the Landscape. She creates body of work using photographs, and sketches of places that have a special place in her heart. Her practice revolves around the landscape and her response to it. She loves nothing better than the rolls and folds of the land and a big sky, a response to the family picnics in the Glens of Antrim, and her father’s wise words of how the ant has no idea of its place in the world.
Lucy Gow’s paintings have been featured in several local and national exhibitions, including Lamport Hall as part of the NROS Arts Festival. Recently,
Lucy Gow has recently worked on a series of paintings inspired by childhood memories of Donegal, participated in a year long course at The Essential School of Painting
